Topic: Problem with UCX

Dear members,

I'm am encountering the following issue with my new bought UCX:

As I am playing stuff, the sound randomly, usually after 2-10 minutes, suddenly
sounds like it has been heavily bitcrushed and sometimes fades completely out.

I am using Cubase 5 and it helps to change the audio device to another one and change it back to the
fireface to re-establish the sound properly.

After a while, however, as I try to switch back to the fireface, the device isn't playing back any sound anymore.

I'd be very glad if somebody could give me any advice.
I already tried to install the latest drivers but it didn't help.

I am running my fireface on Windows7 // intel i7 laptop

!! Please help me this is driving me crazy

Hey people

I kinda managed to find a solution to this... I changed from firewire to usb and now it doesnt seem to have any problems.
It's weird though.. maybe a problem on my firewire port, I couldn't tell, but eventually I was even getting bluescreens when this problem happened.
