Topic: RME UCX burnt plastic smell

Hi i detected that my UCX has a little burnt plastic smell on it's left side (looking at the front panel), like when you are soldering and you hit some plastic, is this allright?

It's overall temperature is warm, not so hot. She lies alone on the desktop, no rack.

Not normal, but if it does not deteriorate or affect operation, I would not worry about it...

Smell is not getting any better... it is still working fine but im afraid it may suddenly burn out.
Do you have any clue of what may be going on in there, has this happened before?
