Windows 2000/XP Driver

Version 2.11: Bluescreen fixed on power-down of certain computers (W2k SP4 Dual CPU). (06/2005)

Version 2.10: Support for sleep and resume mode. In AutoSync mode, a request for a different sample rate than the input one (caused a change to Master mode) is no longer supported. The systray menu of the settings program did not vanish after a right mouse click. Using more than 2 DIGI9652/36 caused the ASIO channel list to become corrupted. Full GSIF 2.0 audio support (record and playback) added. (03/2004)

Version 1.35: SPDIF Out can be used with DVD software player. MME buffer reduced from 2048 to 512. MME buffer can be adjusted between 64 and 512 in the Settings dialog. Automatic sample rate change for AEBx-I when starting record. SPDIF I/O under MME in Double Speed mode: right channel brought back to life. At first driver installation 'AEB/ADAT 1 Int' is no longer activated. SyncAlign was de-activated.(03/01)

Version 1.32: Changes of the sample rate at the SPDIF input were not reported to the ASIO host in AutoSync mode, and the channel status of the sample rate was set incorrectly. DMA buffer modified for DIGICheck operation. (12/00)

Mono record and playback, 20 bit 4 byte mode, AEB button (ADAT1 Int.) and 96 kHz operation for MME ADAT added. Improved ASIO multithread compatibility. (09/00)

Windows 98/SE/ME Driver

Version 2.60: SPDIF Out can be used with DVD software player. Distortion sound after short system overload under MME and ASIO removed. Stuttering after short system overload using Media player removed. MME device names changed (similar to Windows 2000.) Coaxial is default input directly after installation of the driver. MME buffer reduced from 2048 to 512. MME buffer can be adjusted between 64 and 512 in the Settings dialog. Automatic sample rate change for AEBx-I when starting record. (03/01)

Version 2.58: Changes of the sample rate at the SPDIF input were not reported to the ASIO host in AutoSync mode, and the channel status of the sample rate was set incorrectly. Numbering of multiple cards under GSIF corrected. Multiclient GSIF/ASIO operation: improved resets when changing latency. Bugfix second card distorted when first card used in GSIF. (12/00)

Version 2.57: ADM routing improved, in case some inputs were de-activated. Crash when using 96 kHz SPDIF under MME fixed. Performance on critical systems improved. 32 kHz operation fixed. GSIF: Multiple Hammerfalls were not detected. (11/00)

Version 2.55: MME crashed at 93 ms/186 ms, MME buffersize fixed, Hammerfall Light was detected as full Hammerfall. (09/00)

Version 2.51: Memory request in ASIO fixed (caused no problem so far.) Switch 'ADAT1 Internal' added for AEB4/8-I (only hardware version 1.5.) GSIF support added (Gigasampler/Gigastudio.) (08/00)

Version 2.3: Pause function caused scrambled playback. Numbering in multi-card operation corrected. Full USB compatibility (no stutter anymore when sharing USB interrupt.) Improved internal ASIO callbacks. Right mouse click on TrayTool starts dialog. (04/00)

Version 2.2: Channel routing in 96 kHz multicard operation fixed, erase routines in 96 kHz split MME mode fixed for multiclient operation. Support for DIGI9636 added. ASIO channel names modified for better readability. (11/99)

Version 2.1 includes new MME sample position routines (bugfix Samplitude: MIDI sync unstable or lost, Cubase: MME sync test - Sync lost.) (11/99)

Version 2.0, final release with all planned features. MME 96 kHz for ADAT: Routing fixed. Changing the ASIO driver's configuration while in use made more stable. Additional error messages in ASIO/AutoSync mode. (10/99)

Version 1.5 completes the Windows MME support. Bugfixes/Additions/Changes: MME Monitoring implemented, MME ZLM implemented, MME Check Input implemented, format queries and channel modes implemented, 64 kHz and all former 'Out of range' frequencies are now shown as locked (only SPDIF), 32 kHz SPDIF support added (only in mode AutoSync), Channel Status of sample rate at 88,2 and 96 kHz fixed, Registry settings are now loaded at boot, click at start/stop of playback removed (erase routines improved.) Windows NT Driver

Version 3.86: SPDIF I/O under MME in Double Speed mode: right channel brought back to life. Bugfix IRQ-sharing in ASIO multicard operation. (07/2001)

Version 3.85: 32 kHz operation fixed. Bugfix SyncAlign was de-activated for Hammerfall. Version numbers corrected. (11/00)

Version 3.84: Settings dialog completely re-written, new wave device names and numbering, performance improved on critical systems. Mono record and playback, 20 bit 4 byte mode, AEB button (ADAT1 Int.) and 96 kHz operation for MME ADAT added. Improved ASIO multithread compatibility. ASIO supports two Hammerfall. (09/00)

Version 3.83 includes a bugfix for the DIGI32 series. All notes on Windows 2000 removed from readme.txt (separate driver.) (8/00)

Version 3.82 completes the monitoring behavior under MME, sets 'Coaxial' as default (Hammerfall), and allows MME operation when ASIO is deactivated in the background. (4/00)

Version 3.81: Only one installation routine (archive) installing driver, ASIO and DIGITray. Automatic installation of all cards present in the system without the need to press 'Apply'. The Apply button works as usual under Windows. Initialization of all cards. Dialogs clean up. Exit dialog added to right mouse click on DIGITray. Default settings corrected for all cards. Monitoring and ZLM added for Hammerfall MME. Analog output of the PRO/PAD operational directly after boot up. Playback buffer of the Hammerfall cleared after boot up (noise removed) (3/00)

Version 3.80: Completely revised drivers with MME, ASIO and DIGITray Tool. (3/00)

Version 3.72: Bugfix Dual Processor operation using ASIO and Win2K (interrupt routines changed.) Bugfix DIGI32 series (wasn't recognized anymore.) (12/99)

ASIO driver add-on 1.4 supports the Light and improves performance. (1/00)

ASIO driver add-on 1.2 includes improved interrupt routines. (10/99)

Version 3.64 includes support for Project Hammerfall, but no MME device. (8/99)

ASIO driver add-on 1.0 includes all features of the Windows 98 ASIO driver (except multi-card operation.) (8/99)

Mac OS X Driver

Version 1.2: Settings dialogs improved: un-neccessary hard drive access removed. Added card number in multidevice operation to device and each stream name. Added support for power management (resume/sleep). Added workaround for crash on wakeup from sleep on dual G4 Macs. The system profiler no longer claims the driver to be incompatible and not loaded. Improvement of the PCI bus performance. (03/2004)

Version 1.1: Higher compatibility through increased offset. (02/2003)

Version 1.0: Initial release, complete functionality. (01/2003)

Mac OS 9.x Driver

Version 1.61: SPDIF input did not work on newer Macs. (01/2003)

Version 1.6: Buffer handling improved when system overloaded. (07/01)

Version 1.52: Changes of the sample rate at the SPDIF input were not reported to the ASIO host in AutoSync mode, and the channel status of the sample rate was set incorrectly. (12/00)

Version 1.51: No ASIO double speed available with clock mode Master active. (11/00)

Version 1.3 fixed a problem with the USB Floppy enabler. (07/00)

Version 1.1: Slot recognition no longer hard coded. Settings are no longer stored in NVRAM but in a preferences file. 'Alt. ASIO mode' added for Logic. 'ADAT1 Internal' added for AEB4/8-I operation. SyncCheck showed wrong ADAT numbers. Dialog shows 9636 and 9652 correctly. Multi-card support added. Several problems in the Settings dialog's internal structure fixed (crash when changing to another tab, wrong settings transferred etc.) (06/00)
