Topic: How to check the quality of signal transmission by USB?

I connected my BabyFace with a long USB cable (5 meters).
And I want to make sure that the quality is not decreased.
How I do this with the help of Digicheck? Is there a simple way to test it?

I think there is an error counter somewhere in the settings...

What "quality" would you be referring to? "Sound quality"? There is no possible deterioration of that over USB... Or something else?

I mean, packet loss or errors in data transmission.
I would like to see that all of the transmitted data packets reached the babyface 100% unchanged.
For example using looping packets transmitted and the return receipt for the analysis

Those errors would be shown in the Settings dialog. If you want to make sure the connection is stable I would recommend to get an active USB extension. We tested even 10 meters to work perfectly.

Re: How to check the quality of signal transmission by USB?

I asked the question for the following reason.
I had to use an external power source.
Because the cable length is 5 meters't have enough power. (The LEDs on the panel BabyFace flickered, and the computer does not detect the device)

With an external power supply it works.
But I'm worried about whether the deteriorated quality of data transmission?
