----------------------

2.10, 12/15/2016

New in TotalMix FX 1.40:

- Improved operation and robustness of the MIDI I/O functionality (remote), including device removal and sleep/wake scenarios.

- The name of the currently loaded Workspace and Snapshot file, and also the currently loaded Quick Workspace, are shown in the title bar.

- Added full support for multi-interface operation of the upcoming ARC USB.

- Changed some menu entries to better match their meaning/function.

- Gain settings text fixed

- Fixed the 'FX Send' text in various dialogs

- Fixed a bug with scrambled text in routing menus when using Trim and selecting a different submix

- DAW mode dialog: replaced Abbrechen with Cancel.

- Fix: when deactivating the Aux Device remote control with an XTC and the Tools panel is open, Gain was reset to 0.

- Fixed an issue with Mute groups and Speaker B mutes on Mains/Speaker B.

- Global Mute display issue: wrong color scheme at 135% zoom

- Connecting a unit TM FX windows now return to their former zoom state

- Changing the main outs via OSC remote was not communicated to the remote when 'Submix linked to MIDI control' was off.

- Several smaller fixes and improvements for smooth operation.

----------------------

2.09, 11/08/2016

- Improved compatibility of installer and driver files to any OS version

- Digitally signed for Windows 7, 8 und 10 (including Redstone)

New in TotalMix FX 1.35:

- General improvement on stability when TM FX is already running and a device is switched on

- Phantom power and mic gain can now be controlled via page 1 when OSC is set to use 8 channels

- Cue via remote control now works even when 'Cue/PFL to' is not set to Main (but Phones etc)

- OSC settings could crash when many mono channels were configured

----------------------

2.08, 07/19/2016

- ASIO multi-client operation: max number of clients raised from 8 to 32.

New in TotalMix FX 1.31:

- Improved Mono output support for ASIO Direct Monitoring.

- Support for more than 8 channels in OSC. An additional setting now allows to select 8 (default), 12, 16 or 24 channels.

- An OSC remote can be assigned to a specific submix.

- DAW mode added. This simplified alternative interface is for anyone performing all monitoring and routing within the DAW software, so not using TotalMix FX. The DAW mode restarts TM FX into a simpler version with just two rows, no playback row, and no mixing faders in the input row. Routing is 1:1 only. Just gain, phantom power control (if existing) and hardware output levels can be set.

----------------------

2.07, 02/02/2016

- Plug & Play behavior optimized. Removing and inserting the ExpressCard or a Tunderbolt PCIe Expansion chassis (with any RME PCIe card inside) made more robust and reliable.

New in TotalMix FX 1.21:

- optimized reaction on stereo gain changes via ADM even if they don't arrive fully synchronized

- ADM: odd channels of a stereo pair were sometimes not set correctly when loading a snapshot

- selection dialog improved to prevent select-confirmation already on the first mouse click (example: Reverb - Type)

- the View Options panel can now be collapsed like all the other panels, thus getting more and flexible space

- as with the iPad app, the FX panel can now be opened by clicking on the round DSP meter. The View Options therefore can indeed stay closed after selection of the basic settings.

- changed behavior of the icon in the notification area: first click brings the window into the foreground instead of minimizing it

- many small code improvements and fixes for possible bugs and pitfalls

New in the FX section (Reverb / Echo):

- added 8 new reverb types with individual character and behaviour (requires firmware update for UCX, UFX, 802, MADIface XT and HDSPe MADI FX)

- overall improved tonal character, density and fade out behaviour

- improved operation of Smooth and High Cut controls

- longer reverb time for all reverb types

- some parameters are now saved during normal operation for every reverb type, so that comparison and set up is more easy when switching between them

- improved the sound when using reverb and echo simultaneously. Note that these operate in serial with the echo first, so it is possible to generate echoes that get reverb on them.

- added High Cut (HC) option to the echo effect for more natural sound or an intentional damping

- echo delay time is now shown in ms and BPM, and can also be given as BPM (double-click on lower value)

2.03, 02/04/2015

TotalMix FX 1.08:

- OEM only: bug fix ADM with playback channels

- New options under Options, Reset Mix: Set all channels mono, set all channel stereo, set all inputs mono/all outputs stereo (ADM). Attention: although these options do not cause a complete reset of the mixer, the pan settings still get lost (Undo can be used to get the former settings/state back).

Note: Using these options with the MADIface XT and HDSPe MADI FX will take a few seconds until the changes are applied. Therefore to get back to the former state multiple Undo are required.

----------------------

2.02, 12/17/2014

- Fix: Using more than one interface, ADM always controlled the interface of the current output

TotalMix FX 1.07:

- Changed sample rate display in the TM FX title bar to show the system frequency

- Fix: ADM steered wrong channels when some channels were in mono mode

- Volume of Listenback input is saved

- MIDI fixed for the newly supported 'old' interfaces, fixing also various related side effects

----------------------

2.01, 09/26/2014

- 3 brightness levels to adjust the display to the monitor (Options - Preferences or F2)

- Restart of totalmixfx.exe loads the program from \System32 even on 64 bit systems

- CRM channel selection no longer limited. Requires DSP firmware 33 on the MADIface XT.

- Small graphics glitch with Mute and Solo buttons fixed (Group and 135%)

----------------------

2.0, 07/17/2014

- Extended configuration of WDM devices, includes: global choice between multi-channel (up to 8 channels) or stereo (2 channels) WDM devices. Via Configure a table is shown which allows any of these devices to be activated or deactivated. It is not required anymore to have the first WDM device plus consecutive ones active. The configure dialog can be switched to the Speaker view, where any of the currently active WDM devices can be assigned with the Speaker property. This includes multiple Speaker assignments.

- Number of WDM devices can be set to 0, effectively disabling the WDM functionality and all its side effects

- Improved DirectSound compatibility and operation, especially in Surround/multi-channel modes

- TotalMix FX 1.02

- TotalMix FX can now read the hardware level meter information simultaneously with DIGICheck, giving valid readings

- Using the parameter /silent the rmeinstaller can be run unattended

----------------------

1.20, 05/19/2014

- Driver modified to unload/reload WDM devices on change of sample rate. This fixes the loss of WDM surround setting, and allows to set the WDM sample rate in Windows 8.x globally, for the whole device. It is recommended to enable only as many WDM devices as necessary, to reduce system load on sample rate change.

- WDM Devices setting changed from edit box to list box

- Changing the number of WDM devices becomes active immediately

- Increasing or decreasing the number of WDM devices will only add/remove the difference. The lower number WDM devices that are unaffected by such a change stay untouched, and can even be used during the change.

TotalMix FX 1.00:

- Global Trim Gains is now switched off with the Global Trim button only

- Several bugfixes when loading workspaces (possible graphics problem after loading the same workspace multiple times; possible hang after multiple loading of workspaces with an Aux device setting; possible incorrect loading of Mac or iPad workspaces).

- Changed Channel Layout: removed column 'active'. The list now only shows the channels that are currently present, depending on the actual sample rate. This also fixes wrong channel names when using the option 'Count MADI Channels per port' with MADI devices.

----------------------

1.19, 02/27/2014

TotalMix FX 0.998:

- Improved Undo: Loading a Workspace after editing Snapshots removed the last edits from the undo buffer

- Several small fixes

- New tab 'Options' in the Settings dialog, including all options formerly found on the 'About' tab (Lock registry, Optimize Multi-client Mixing, Enable MMCSS for ASIO)

- New functions on the Options tab of the Settings dialog: Change Card Order allows to change the order of the cards when more than one card is present in the system. ASIO 32 Channel Limit reduces the number of ASIO channels to 32 to prevent ProTools from crashing.

- New TotalMix FX 0.99 Beta 3. Supports up to 6 cards and recognizes a changed card order.

----------------------

1.11, 05/23/2013

- In specific situations the WDM devices could have wrong names (since driver 1.06).

----------------------

1.10, 05/21/2013

- ASIO 2.3 support with higher priority for the ASIO driver thread via MMCSS in the Settings dialog About page.

- Note: At this time, activating this option seems to be useful mostly with the latest Cubase/Nuendo at higher load. With other software this option can decrease performance. The change becomes active after an ASIO reset. Therefore it is easy to quickly check which setting works better.
